The bridge across the Vakh River on the road from Nizhnevartovsk to Strezhevoy
The river crossing structure consists of the bridge across the Vakh River, the bridge across the Savkinskaya River and approach embankments. The total length of this structure is 7.9km.
The superstructure of this bridge is steel continuous beam with orthotropic deck and has 84+105+2х126+3х147+105m spans. The length between abutments is 1001.4m. The total width between balustrades is 15.4m. The width of the deck is 11.5m plus 0.75m-long staff footpaths. The live load is A14, H-14. The bridge clearance is 100x15m and 140x15m.
The superstructure is continuous steel beam with box cross section that consists of two L-shaped girders, connected with the orthotropic slab at the upper and lower chords’ level.
The assembling of both superstructures is performed by linear launching method with temporary piers.
The superstructure of the bridge across the Savkinskaya River is steel continuous beam with othotropic deck with 3x42m spans; the total length between abutments is 134.9m.
